Living in Lilyfield means enjoying a quieter part of the Inner West, with leafy streets and plenty of established homes. When something electrical goes wrong at your place, our electricians can help with repairs, switchboards and emergency call-outs for storm damage, power surges or tripping breakers. We’re only around five minutes away, depending on traffic, so we’re never far when you need us.
How can we help you?
Because we work so close to Lilyfield, our electricians regularly help with the kinds of electrical issues that come up in established Inner West homes. That can mean older switchboards, wiring that has been changed during past renovations, or even smoke alarms that every home is required to have.
We also see plenty of urgent faults, from repeated tripping and buzzing breakers to surge-related problems after bad weather. Our experience in the area helps us get to the cause quickly, explain what needs attention, and keep the work practical for the way you use your home.
Inner West Electrical Solutions is proud to be one of the friendly electrician teams Lilyfield locals can call on. As a neighbouring suburb and an area we work in often, Lilyfield feels very familiar to us. Over time, many of our customers here have become repeat clients, and we value the trust that comes with being part of their local network.

Power cutting out, lights flickering or breakers tripping for no clear reason can be frustrating and hard to pin down. Our electricians test the wiring, circuits and fittings to find the source of the fault and explain what needs fixing.

Older switchboards can struggle with the way modern Lilyfield homes use power, especially after renovations or new electrical additions. We can check the condition of your board, upgrade old fuses or safety switches, and make sure it is set up for everyday household use.

Loose sockets, warm outlets or too many power boards around the house are signs you may need extra or replacement power points. We can add new outlets where they make sense, replace damaged fittings and check the wiring behind them at the same time.

A ceiling fan that wobbles, hums, stops responding or no longer cools the room properly usually needs more than a quick adjustment. We can install a new fan, replace an older unit and make sure the wiring, mounting and wall control are all set up properly.

New hardwired appliances such as ovens, induction cooktops, electric hot water systems and some rangehoods need the right electrical connection before they can be used safely. Our electricians can install the required wiring or circuit and make sure the setup suits the appliance.

Dark rooms, outdated fittings or lighting that flickers and buzzes can make a home feel uncomfortable and point to an electrical issue. We can install new indoor and outdoor lighting, replace old fittings and help position lights so they work better for the way you use the space.
We like to keep things clear from the start. Before any work begins, we explain the expected cost and what is included, so you are not left guessing. Our workmanship is covered by a 12-month warranty, while products we supply come with at least a one-year warranty, with some covered for up to seven years.
Sometimes a quick phone chat is enough to understand the problem. Other times, especially in older or renovated Lilyfield homes, it is better for us to come out and inspect the switchboard, wiring, access and existing circuits before recommending the right fix.
For electrical emergencies, call us first and tell us what is happening. Your call goes directly to our owner and chief electrician, who can talk you through simple safety steps over the phone while we work out the safest response and organise an electrician to come out.
We do our best to prioritise urgent faults, and same-day service may be available depending on when you call and what is already booked. For planned work, we organise a suitable time for you, keep you updated along the way and provide any required compliance paperwork once the job is complete.

Our Rozelle base is only a few minutes from Lilyfield, so we do not have to cross Sydney before getting to your suburb. That local proximity helps us prioritise urgent electrical call-outs when availability allows.

Our electricians bring more than 20 years of hands-on experience to household faults, renovations, older wiring, switchboard upgrades and everyday electrical work.

We have Level 2 electricians in our team for authorised work involving consumer mains, service cables, disconnection and reconnection and other supply-side electrical jobs at residential properties.

We treat your home as we would want ours treated, working carefully around floors and furnishings and leaving the work area tidy when the job is finished.

Our 5-star Google rating has been built through clear communication, dependable workmanship and the care our electricians bring into customers’ homes across the Inner West.

Your safety comes first; we ensure all installations and repairs meet the latest safety regulations. We also take the time to explain any safety concerns we find and what we recommend doing about them.

Chris and his colleague Yuri put in two pendant lights, two wall lights, and while they were at it, took a look at the fusebox and swapped some switches. They were quick (even managed to squeeze us in a full day earlier), enthusiastic, friendly, and did a good job. Chris, in particular, was clearly familiar with typical issues in old houses in the area, and offered up some very helpful advice. Overall, great service.
